How do I make a donation through PayPal?

How Does PayPal work? PayPal is an online financial transaction broker, allowing donors to send contributions directly to the Cedar Rapids Public Library Foundation. Through its policies and practices, PayPal has earned the trust of both parties. With multiple guarantees in place, the donor and the Foundation entrust PayPal with their credit card and bank information. PayPal keeps that customer information private.

Library Amazon.com Wish List

Why the library uses wish lists

Wish Lists are a great way for the library to let people know the things we would most like to own. Amazon makes it easy to send most items as gifts. The library often specifies items were lost in the flood or items that are in high demand. It also makes it easy to ensure that the gift gets sent to the right place and that the library doesn't receive more copies than we want.

The Friends of the CRPL have installed a donation drop box in the Westdale Mall parking lot. The box is located on the east side of Westdale Mall between the JCPenney store and former Steve & Barry's store on the sidewalk.

If you have a large quantity of books and/or media that you would like to have picked up or if you have questions about your donation, please contact the Friends of the CRPL at CRFriends@gmail.com.

Due to the high costs of recycling and trash removal, we ask that you limit your donations to items we can sell – things that you’d be willing to buy.
