The library currently offers curbside no-contact holds pickup at both locations by appointment.
Patrons will be notified when holds are available. Once you have been notified, schedule curbside pickup or call (319) 261-7323, and staff will assist you. Appointments cannot be made for the same day.

Explore our materials in the online catalog and place a hold on any item you wish to receive. You will be notified when it is available for you to pickup.

Accessibility Assistance
Patrons with mobility issues are welcome to use our curbside holds pickup process. Please call the library when you arrive to pickup your holds so staff can assist you.
Library Grab Bag
Not sure what you want to read or watch? Fill out a Curbside Materials Request Form to tell us what you’re hoping to get and which library you wish to pick items up at.
Library staff will place holds on a selection of items that are already on the shelves of that particular library.
Holds are filled in the order they are received. When you are notified your hold is available, schedule a curbside pickup.
Mobile Printing
You can print remotely and pick up your printouts at the library. Mobile Printing only works during regular library hours.
To print, either upload documents or email them.
When you are notified they are ready, come inside to pick them up.
