Book Sales
Book sales are held throughout the year. Check the listing on the right for the most current book sale dates.

Private appointments are available to “shop the stacks” in the Friends Sorting Center at the Downtown Library, where there are thousands of $1, $2 and $3 books, as well as individually priced books and collectibles. Email crfriends@gmail.com for an appointment.
Books for purchase are always available at the Book Nooks at both library locations for $2 each. All book sale proceeds support literacy programs of the Cedar Rapids Public Library.
Book Sets for Sale
The Friends of the Cedar Rapids Public Library has several beautiful and collectible book sets for sale.
They are available for purchase and pick up. We cannot mail the sets or offer deliveries; only local pickups are available.

Book Donations
Friends of the Cedar Rapids Public Library gratefully accepts new and gently used books and media. Specific instructions as to how to donate and what items are accepted can be found below. If you have more than five boxes of books or media you would like to donate, please email us at crfriends@gmail.com.
