UPDATE: After the ice storm led to Merry TubaChristmas being cancelled at the Downtown Library on Dec. 14, the organizers have found a new date and location for this annual event.
The concert will be held Saturday, Dec. 21, at the auditorium at Kennedy High School, 4545 Wenig Road NE. Registration for musicians will start at 11:30 am with rehearsal at noon and the concert at 3 pm. Attendees are asked to use the north parking lot and entrance.

Friends of the Library Very Cherry Holiday Sale
Purchase new and gently used giftable books in support of the Friends of the Cedar Rapids Public Library during the Very Cherry Holiday event. Proceeds support literacy programs in our community.

Join us for an active music-making class with Carly Schieffer of Orchestra Iowa's Music Together as participants are guided through the story through creative movement. An overview of the story will be shared through children’s literature.

“Home Alone” with Cocoa, Crafts, & Gift Wrapping
