The Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance will hold Blues in the Park in Greene Square on Friday, May 19, from 6-10:30 pm. Gates open at 5 pm. 

Several streets around Greene Square and the library will be closed during the day Friday to prepare for the event. However, the Downtown Library, library parking lot, and Fourth Avenue Parking Ramp will remain open and accessible.  

There may be barricades up on some roads, but patrons will be able to drive around them to access the library and parking areas. 

Streets will be closed and street parking will not be allowed from 6 am-midnight Friday on the following streets: 

• 3rd Avenue SE from 2nd Street to 6th Street 
• 4th Avenue SE from 3rd Street to 6th Street 
• 3rd Street SE from 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue 
• 5th Street SE from 2nd Avenue to 5th Avenue 

Patrons may park in the library parking lot or the Fourth Avenue Parking Ramp.
